Library Media Specialist - Shepherdsville Elementary - 2026-2027

Shepherdsville Elementary is searching for an energetic candidate who is experienced and knowledgeable about high quality instruction and Library Media Science as well as a strong understanding of educational technology and how it can enhance student learning when used appropriately.

The Library Media Specialist must be able to collaborate with our teachers and staff to enhance the development of student literacy through the administration of the library media program.  This person will provide specialized instruction to students and oversee the selection, organization, utilization, and maintenance of library/media center.

Interested candidates should understand that this position requires flexibility and responsiveness to the overall literacy and educational technology needs of our school.  

Candidate must have Kentucky Library Media Specialist Certification at EPSB or provide a Letter of Eligibilty, and possess all other requirements according to BCPS.

This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.

Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the 2026-2027 school year.
