Library Director

Cooke County is seeking an experienced Library Director to lead all library operations. This role provides strategic direction, manages staff and budgets, and ensures high-quality, accessible library services for the public. This position will lead daily operations, staff supervision, and strategic planning, develop and manage the library budget, pursue grants and funding opportunities, oversee collection development and library services, prepare reports for County leadership and ensure regulatory compliance. A Master's in Library & Information Science required, along with strong leadership, budgeting, and organizational skills, experience with library systems, technology, and public service, and excellent communication skills.
