Job Description:

Under the direction of the Library Director or designee, the Federal Work-Study Library Student Assistant provides general support for the daily operations of the library during assigned evening and/or weekend hours. This position assists at the service desk, supports students and other library users in locating resources, maintains library materials and spaces, and provides basic assistance with library equipment and the Roadrunner Outfitter Store.

The Library Student Assistant helps maintain a welcoming, organized, safe, and service-oriented environment while developing valuable customer service, communication, organization, and workplace skills. The position requires reliability, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assigned tasks with appropriate guidance from library staff.
