Role Summary
As an Elementary Librarian, you will manage the school’s media center and provide instructional leadership in information literacy. You will curate a diverse, inclusive collection that reflects our community and supports the curriculum. Working collaboratively with classroom teachers, you will integrate research skills and technology into the student experience, ensuring the library remains the intellectual heart of the building.

- Certified Professional: Valid Missouri Library Media Specialist Certification (K-12).
- Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) preferred.

- Collaborate: Partner with Grade-Level PLCs to provide resources that align with classroom inquiry and STEAM initiatives.
- Manage & Curate: Maintain an organized, modern, and inviting physical and digital library space that meets the needs of 21st-century learners.
- Empower Discovery: Utilize district assets like the Challenger Learning Center and Little Creek to connect library research to real-world exploration.
