Our colleagues across the globe love innovating with science and technology to enrich people’s lives with our solutions in Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics. Together, we dream big and are passionate about caring for our rich mix of people, customers, patients, and planet. That's why we are always looking for curious minds that see themselves imagining the unimaginable with us.

We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to support our Quality and Archive functions through a focused data‑cleaning and optimisation project. This role is ideal for a student with strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and an interest in data integrity, laboratory operations, or regulated environments.

The intern will be responsible for organising and reconciling an internal multi‑sheet database, comparing it against our internal LabWare system and an external vendor database. The goal is to identify studies that require archiving, highlight typographical or data discrepancies, and support improvements in how study information is stored and managed. The intern will also assist with tidying and preparing scanned study files for migration into a new database.

Training will be provided in selected archive processes, and the intern will contribute to identifying opportunities for storage optimisation and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and consolidate an internal database currently spread across multiple spreadsheets.

  • Compare internal records with the LabWare system to identify studies that have not yet been archived.

  • Cross‑check internal data against an external vendor database to identify typographical errors or inconsistencies.

  • Confirm the status of studies (e.g., archived externally, held onsite, or pending transfer).

  • Review existing stored materials and assess opportunities for optimisation or cost reduction.

  • Organise and clean scanned study file data from the offsite archive in preparation for migration into a new database.

  • Receive training in selected archive processes and provide support as required.

  • Assist with routine archive tasks under supervision.

  • Perform duties in alignment with the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

  • Ensure all work is completed accurately, documented appropriately, and compliant with internal procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., filtering, lookups, pivot tables, data comparison).

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple data sources.

  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
