About the role - Library Technician 

Join our Information Services Centre (ISC) team and help inspire a love of reading, learning and research. Based primarily in the Senior School, this role supports the delivery of contemporary library services that enhance student engagement, literacy and wellbeing across the School.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and developing print, digital and audiovisual collections
  • Cataloguing, acquisitions, subscriptions and library database management
  • Supporting students and staff with research, information retrieval and digital resources
  • Managing circulation services and library systems (Infiniti and online platforms)
  • Creating engaging displays, promotional materials and reading initiatives
  • Assisting with literacy programs, research workshops and student learning activities
  • Supporting Book Week, author visits, clubs, competitions and other co-curricular programs

About you:

  • Experienced in library, information services or a related field
  • Strong organisational and technology skills
  • Confident using library management systems and digital platforms
  • Passionate about literacy, learning and student engagement
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
