DescriptionAs Library Operations Support Officer, you’ll join our Library Operations and Innovation Team to provide support, and troubleshooting of Library Services technology, systems and hardware. You will also assist the broader team in the successful delivery of accessible collections and strategic projects to help connect our community to information and services and create a welcoming, inclusive space that people love to visit.
This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) permanent position
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Library Systems Specialist in the management of all Library technology and systems (including the Library Management System, RFID equipment, printers/copiers and Wi-Fi).
- Troubleshoot technological issues associated with equipment, hardware and software whilst ensuring minimal service disruption.
- Follow escalation processes for addressing issues as they arise with a variety of system owners and technology contractors and vendors.
- Communicate with CX Officers and provide clear instructions and troubleshooting processes.
- Work across multiple library functions within the Library Operations and Innovation Team, providing support as needed to Collections, Strategic Projects and Community History.
- Collate the corporate KPI metrics for Library Services as per the reporting schedule, including Public Library Services data reporting statistics.
- Embrace digital systems and technologies to enhance customer experiences.

Salary range is between $75,617 - $ 81,719 (pro rata) plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
