About the role


This position is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday. They will be responsible for providing the full range of business, process, and administrative support services across the library. 

The Library Administration Officer also act as relief Workforce Administrator in the production and maintenance of staff rosters for Parramatta and branch libraries as per Library procedures.

On a daily basis you will: 

  • Deliver end-to-end administrative support across library services, including records management, courier coordination and office operations. 
  • Manage financial and business processes such as purchase orders, invoices, budgeting support and operational transactions. 
  • Support workforce coordination including rostering, leave administration, recruitment support and staff training requirements. 
  • Maintain efficient operations and facilities through tracking statistics, managing assets, security access and office environment standards. 
  • Provide high-quality customer and stakeholder support while coordinating meetings, events and communications across the library network.

 

About You 

The successful candidate should have 3+ years relevant administrative experience in an office or library environment, with a proven track record of achieving objectives. 

You will also bring the below essential requirements:

  • Certificate in Business Administration or Customer Service plus suitable relevant experience
  • Working with Children check
  • Criminal History check
  • Experience in business, customer and relationship management including handling sensitive matters with discretion. 
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level support to a broad team, as well as lead and manage small projects.
  • Sound organisational skills with the ability to plan, organise and determine priorities from a variety of incoming sources, with the ability to achieve deadlines and experience in organising internal staff events.

We are offering a permanent full-time opportunity, with an attractive remuneration from $82,692.71 to $91,067.29 plus 12% superannuation.
