Intermediate Library Paraprofessional (2026-2027 School Year)

Primary Purpose:

Assist students and staff in the administration of the campus library.  Perform routine clerical duties and maintain an organized library.  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Paraprofessional certificate
• Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
• Ability to file books following district cataloging system
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with students

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide individual instruction and assistance in using media center resources including computers and audiovisual equipment.

• Shelve incoming books, materials and equipment.

• Ready materials for classroom or reserve collection use as requested by teachers.
