Under the supervision of the Head of Adult Services, the Adult Programming & Outreach Librarian is responsible for providing library service and programming for adult library patrons and community members, in and outside of the library. Ensures that adult patrons of the library are provided with various cultural, recreational, and educational information and related materials and programs. Provides community outreach services and programming. Provides direct assistance to patrons at service desks and assists with collection development and readers advisory activities. Serves as part of the Library’s Operational Supervisors team to oversee daily operations.

Master’s degree in library science plus three years of increasingly responsible public library experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the following knowledge, ability, and skills:
